He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Broadhurst and Carolynn Broadhurst (Cator). He is survived by: his wife Heather Broadhurst of Canyon, Texas; his children, Brooke Burciaga (Ismael), Blair Broadhurst (Erin) of Amarillo, Texas, Jonah Sternenberg (Celeste) of Conway, Arkansas and Jacob Sternenberg of Lubbock Texas; his grandchildren, Whit, Merritt, Kennedy, Palmer and Elizabeth; his siblings, Ladonna Coursey of Amarillo and Lance Broadhurst (Shanda) of Littlefield, Texas; and his nephews, Steven Coursey (Lindsey), Jordan Broadhurst (Becca), Jonathan Coursey (Danielle) and Hayden Broadhurst (Emily). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Amarillo - Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1208 S Tyler St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
