She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Nelson (Kelisa) of Liberty Hill, Stacie Barnett (Chad) of Happy, Marla Nelson of Canyon and Daniel Nelson (Lindsey) of Olton, Texas; her grandchildren, Lacie Berry (Layton) of Happy, Jakob Nelson of Liberty Hill, Brigham Nelson of Liberty Hill, Wyatt Nelson of Olton, Texas, Emmitt Nelson of Olton, Texas, Hannah Nelson of Olton, Texas and Karoline Nelson of Olton, Texas; her great grandchild Ty Berry of Happy; and her siblings, Marilyn Swope of Bastrop and Mike Jones of Canyon, Texas..

Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Chapel (1702 5th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (102 N Western Ave, Happy, TX 79042). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Happy Cemetery (2965 N Western Ave, Happy, TX 79042).
