She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Simler and Kathryne Simler; and her husband Bill Robards. She is survived by: her daughter Laurie (Tim) of Canyon; her grandsons, Tyler Gilliland of Houston and Ben Gilliland (Katie); her great grandchildren, Addison of Canyon and Sam of Canyon; her son Larry Robards (Lisa) of Amarillo; and her grandchildren, Lillie and Lauren.

A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen Church (4600 S Western St, Amarillo, TX 79109).
