It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kelly Johnson of Canyon, Texas, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bill Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Sue Johnson (Newman); his wife Patricia Smith; his children, Lindsey Johnson, Marcus Johnson (Sophie) and Hayden Johnson (Kristen); his grandchildren, Lynleigh, Lincoln, Asher and Dakota; and his siblings, Jim Johnson (Faye), Janna Hill (Mark) and Jennifer Land (Brad). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the FCA at West Texas A&M University, 5111 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79110.
