He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Halvorson-Bye and Marie Halvorson-Bye; his siblings, Deloris, Donnie, Marvin and Harold; his son James "Dewey" Bye; and his daughter-in-law Glenda Ann Bye.
He is survived by: his significant other Marlene Bye; and his sons, Terry (Teresa Bye) of Meridian, MS and Ron (Theresa Bye) of Canyon, TX. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to BSA Harrington Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
