Freida Gist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freida Gist of Canyon, Texas, born in Flagstaff, Arizona, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferrell Abbott and Oleta Abbott (Tinnin); her sister-in-law Kathy Gist (Scott Harrelson); her granddaughter Katelyn Beckwith; her parents-in-law, R. B. and Bonnie Gist; her stepfather-in-law Gordon Grisham; her sister-in-law Beth Gist; and her daughter-in-law Amy Gist.
She is survived by: her husband Roger B. Gist III; her son Roger B. Gist IV of Canyon; her grandchildren, R. B., Abby and Sawyer; her daughter Lara Leigh Beckwith (Dan) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Addison and Austin; her son Jonathan Gist of Canyon; her siblings, Ted Abbott (Kitty) of Addy, WA, Patricia Abbott of Canyon, Mickey Abbott of Canyon and Randy Abbott (Janet) of Canyon; her brother-in-law Robert Gist of Colorado Springs; and her children, Box and Buffs. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
