She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Alice Crawley and Elvis D. Crawley; and her sister Melba Ann. She is survived by: her husband Kent Peeples; her grandchildren, Berkley Peeples, Tatum Burdis, Abbey Layne Carter and Molly Carter; her great grandchild Kinley Hucks; and her sister Nancy Russell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elaine Peeples Women's Leadership. Scholarship at West Texas A&M University or to the national Alzheimer's Association.
