Deborah Wirt Tardy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Wirt Tardy of Canyon, Texas, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Vincent, Sr. and Barbara Wirt (Britt). She is survived by: her son D. C. Tardy (Stacy); her grandchildren, Miaoyi Zeng (Xia), Micah Tardy (Madelyn), Julia Tardy and Joy Tardy; her great grandchild Christopher Tardy (Poppy); her brother Vince Wirt (Dona); and also, Gracelyn and Joshua Tardy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1208 S Tyler St, Amarillo, TX 79101). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Dreamland Cemetery (26500 S U. S. 87, Canyon, TX 79015).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the First Baptist Church of Amarillo, 1208 S. Tyler St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
