He is survived by: his spouse Doris Geraldine "Jerry" Dodson; his daughter Seleta Abbott of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Brian Gwin (Ashlee) of Amarillo and Brooke Chance of Lubbock; his great grandchildren, Canon Gwin, Corbyn Gwin, Rubee Smith and Avelynn Smith; and his brother Bill Abbott of Lubbock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
