He is survived by: his wife Regina Pender; his children, Sam Pender of Amarillo, Regina'Nini'Kern (Francis) of Marianna, AR, Bridget Gervasi (Terry) of Amarillo, Meridith Preston (Scott) of Arlington, TN, Jamie Pender of Arlington, TN and David Pender of Amarillo; his siblings, Sally O'Toole (John) of San Jose, CA and Tom Pender (Debbie) of Vancouver, WA; his grandchildren, Jacob Kern, Lauren Smith, Caitlin'Cricket'Graham, Seth Kern, London Wilson, Azzan Wilson, Nick Gervasi, Anna Marie Chaffin, Dylan Chaffin, Elijah Preston, Madelyn Preston and Emily Gross; and his brother-in-law Michael Cronan (Merilyn) of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
