Betty Mae Avent Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Avent of Canyon, Texas, born in Olustee, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George "G. W." Harwood and Ola Harwood (Lovejoy); her husband Don; her siblings, Floyd Harwood, Buddy Harwood, Hack Harwood, Fred Harwood, Bill Harwood, Ruth Harwood Conrad, Velma Harwood Powers, Bertha Harwood Greteman, Wilma Harwood Prichard and Letha Harwood Gammon; her grandson Miles Paschel; and her great grandchild Reagan Rose Paschel.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Avent Paschel, Louis and Scott Avent; her grandchildren, Branden Paschel, Alyssa, Mikayla Paschel, Keaton Paschel, Jason Avent, Lisa, Staci Cooper and Chris; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Paschel, Jacob, Adalyn Avent, Braden and Cannon Cooper; her siblings-in-law, Martha Avent Wilkins, Juanita Avent Allred and George Avent (Barbara); and her friend Mae Weatherford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
