It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Knowles of Canyon, Texas, born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cecil and Denvis Cox (Martine); her husband Eddie Knowles; her daughter Kimberly Kra; her brother Bobby Cox; and her son-in-law Kirk Strobel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Richardson (Greg) of Amarillo and Nicki Strobel of Canyon; her grandsons, Reid Strobel (Edna), Aaron Strobel, Trent Strobel and Ben Richardson; her great grandchildren, Bella, Elliot and Grace; and her siblings, Dorothy Solomon, Tom Cox, Lynn Cox, Barbara Solomon and Cecile Leatherman. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.
