It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Blackwell of Canyon, Texas, born in Bonham, Texas, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hale and Gladys Hargrove Hale. She is survived by: her husband Rusty; her sons, Jimmy Blackwell and Johnny Blackwell; her grandchildren, Haley, Seth, Brenynn and Megan; and her great grandchildren, Laney, Liam, Harley, Isabel and Jackson.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Methodist Church, 1818 Fourth Ave., Canyon, TX 79015.
