She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. W. K. Harper and Orpha B. Harper (Shaw); her son Richard Andrew Jackson; and her brother Edward Harper. She is survived by: her husband Richard'Dick'Jackson; her children, Sally Jo Jackson and Clay Harper Jackson (Tracy Eisenberg); her grandchildren, Jackson Kennedy (Annie) and Griffin Kennedy; and her brother Alan Harper (Cindy).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Canyon (1818 4th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015).

The family suggests memorials be made to the Dick and Jo Jackson Academy Scholarship at the Amarillo Little Theatre, 2019 Civic Circle, Amarillo, TX 79109.
