He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Ernest Johnson and Ellen Marie Nord. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Irene Blomquist; his children, Gene Johnson and Carol Johnson; his grandchildren, Erik Johnson and Amanda Criswell (Isaac); and his brother-in-law Franklin Blomquist. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Texas Lions Camp, First United Methodist Church, Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture or a charity of one's choice.
