She is survived by: her husband Gene Riggs; her sons, Cole Riggs (Mary) and Cory Riggs (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Chase Riggs (Alexandra), Christopher Riggs, Caylie Towery (Hunter), Cortney Kohleffel (Kyle), Cody Riggs, Taylor Reid (Jarrod) and Kate Kunkel; her great grandchildren, Davy Reid and Charlotte Riggs; her nephews, Scott Jackson (Bernadine) of Weirton, WV and Sean Jackson of Wellsburg, WV; and her niece Melanie Leiendecker of Myrtle Beach, SC..

“Richard & I have such fond memories of being across the street neighbors of Trudy & Gene’s in Oak Shores, Canyon Lake TX. We had many fun gatherings and outings with our “hood” when we all lived there. One of my very fondest memories was someone renting pontoon boats. We would tie them together in the middle of the lake, eat hors d’oeuvres, ride jet skies like teenagers and the ladies float on noodles in the middle of the lake. I remember we all loved it, especially Trudy. “Those were the days….”
