He was predeceased by: his parents, William Myers and Eva Hall Myers; and his siblings, Edgar Myers, W. A. Myers and Lorraine Myers McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Karbach; his daughter Melissa Wilson (Craig) of New Braunfels; his grandchildren, Andrew and Sierra Wilson of Bristol, Texas; and his pet Scooter. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sophienburg Museum in New Braunfels, Texas or the First United Methodist Church.
