With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Payne of Canyon Lake, Texas, born in Freeport, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her son Keith Payne; her parents, Jim Bell and Jean Bell; her brother Larry Bell; and her niece Elizabeth Chen.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Payne; her sons, Jason and Jeffrey Payne; her daughters-in-law, Alyssa and Alejandra; her grandchildren, Arabella, Camila Payne, Jackson and Everett Payne; her siblings, Cindy McDougal (Randy) and James Bell (Joan); and her sister-in-law Janet Thompson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (189 N Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
