She is survived by: her parents, Alex Strey and Emma Strey (Dieckow).
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Alex Edward Strey, and her beloved husband Frederick "Fritz' Rinner. She is survived by her daughter Sherry Bower & husband Craig of Belton, TX; grandchildren, Clayton Bower & wife Haleigh of Somerville, TX, Stephanie Vazquez & husband Dave of San Diego, CA, Timothy Bower of Springer, NM; great-grandchildren, Brooke Vazquez, Hannah Vasquez & Blake Bower; brother Larry Strey of San Antonio, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, TX on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Canyon Lake, TX on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM. A procession will follow to Sts Peter & Paul Cemetery for burial. In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
