He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boydstun and Vula Boydstun; his brothers, George and Benjamin; and his great grandchild Raiden Ramos.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Boydstun; and his children, Beverly Jernigan (Dan), John Boydstun Jr., Linda Wilson (John) and Tracy Buchholz (Ron).
