He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Ima Gene Shaw (Thomason); his wife Carrie Brooks (Kaiser); and his children, Jeremiah, Jacqueline and Benjamin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
