She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Jackson and Genevieve Jackson (Powell); her husband Weldon Wersterfer (Red); and her daughter Cynthia Wersterfer. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Wersterfer of New Braunfels; her brother Don Jackson; her grandson Connor Wersterfer of Houston; and her nephew Robert Jackson of Brenham. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (189 N Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (572 W San Antonio St, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church, Hope Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or your charity of choice.
