He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Smith and Estel Smith; his siblings, Weldon (Luetta) and Shirley Puro (Lee); and his brothers-in-law, Hilton Mangum and Wiley Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Vem Brock Smith; his sons, Clay Smith (Annette) and Craig Smith (Laura); his stepchildren, Kevin Brock (Karen) and Kimberly Brock Cartlidge (Benny); and his sisters-in-law, Melba Mangum and Evelyn Walker. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
