She was predeceased by: her parents, David Brian Abbott and Faye Dora Wallace Abbott; her husband Forest E. Shreves (Bud); and her sister Margaret Martin (David Brian Abbott). She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Michelle Shreves, Forest E. Shreves, III (Alice), Terri Shreves Engelke (Tony) and Mark Quade Shreves (Vickie); and her sister Alice Abbott Matheson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, and a great many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (1071 FM2673, Canyon Lake, TX 78133). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Canyon Lake Church of Christ (42301 FM3159, Canyon Lake, TX 78133). A burial will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
