He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clauss and Jessie Clauss. He is survived by: his wife Sheri; his daughter Katherine Whitt (Adam); his grandchildren, Hayden Kassidy and Colton; his brother Richard; his niece Candace Powell (Josh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audrianna and Eli; his niece Patricia Greeby (Chris); and his cousin Tom Scheidler.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to Carl's favorite organization County Citizens Defending Freedom.
