She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertel Alfred and Edith Adelia Bloomquist. She is survived by: her husband David R. Vandersteen; and her daughters, Renee Kimball and Lorrie Couture (Granger). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 sisters.
