She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Ott (Seidel) and John Ott; her son James Schmidt; her grandson Justin Schmidt; her husband Ira Schmidt; and her daughter-in-law Carla Leighton.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Mary), Donna Allen (Larry), Marsha Riviea, Gregory (Sharon), Dana, Leslie and Aaron (Carolyn). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Sts. Peter and Paul School Trust Fund.
