He was predeceased by: his parents, Rallie Jefferson and Annie Ruth Tallmon; his son Roy Lynn Tallmon; and his brothers, Sonny and Ronny Tallmon.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Tallmon (Annie) and Karen Gailey (Michael); his grandchildren, Brandon Tallmon, Clayton Gailey, Amber Gailey, Brianna Iglesias, Tyler Tallmon and Tanner Tallmon; and his brother Michael Tallmon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
