He was predeceased by: his wife Birdie Harris; his parents, Wilford S. Boyette and Mamie Lee Sowell; his siblings, Billie Jean, Mary Butler, Millard Boyette and Butch Boyette; and his granddaughter Candance Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Boyette and Annette Sanders; and his sister Ruby Gerdts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
