He was predeceased by: his parents, Dellis Chamness and Anne Chamness; and his sister Jackie Parker. He is survived by: his wife Helen Joyce Sayre Chamness; his children, John Lawrence, Barbara Sain, Chuck Chamness and Martha Head; and also, William Sain and Jan Chamness. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Home for Children.
