He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joe and Lillie Belle Carroll Mikulec; his mother-in-law Gladys Manthei; and his nephews, Danny Manthei and Garrett Manthei.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Charity (David Reynolds), Crystal Mikulec of Bullard, Marcus (Jaime Mikulec) and Malcolm (Kelli Mikulec); his brothers, Larry (Becky Mikulec) and Glen Mikulec; and his parents-in-law, Char Mikulec, Ludy, Sally Manthei of Bryan, Teddy, Donna Manthei of Franklin, Gary and Debbie Manthei of Sugarland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
