She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Houston Berry and Lottie Marie Berry; and her birth mother Trudie Mae Spears. She is survived by: her husband Alan Travis; her children, Kyle Travis, Melissa Tompkins (John) and Alana Kundu (Amlan); her grandchildren, Taylor, Maylee and Aarav; her cousins, Ruth, Carolyn, Kevin and Diane; and her sister Dianne Vermillion.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home (205 Corky Boyd Ave, Wills Point, TX 75169). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Edgewood Church of Christ (15915 US-80, Edgewood, TX 75117). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Colfax Cemetery (3679 FM Rd 16, Canton, TX 75103).
At the family's request, donations in honor of Jo can be made in lieu of flowers to Edgewood Church of Christ or the Wills Point Education Foundation.
