He was predeceased by: his parents, Aikin Connor and Ruby Olive Hatcher (Thompson); and his son Darrell James Hatcher. He is survived by: his wife Edna Hatcher of Canton; his son Tim Hatcher (Lynley) of Canton; his siblings, Murrell C. Hatcher of Oakridge North and Buela Kay Sirco of Albuquerque; and his grandchildren, Brianna Elizabeth Hatcher and Cameron Hatcher. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to New Horizons Assembly of God in Grand Saline.
