She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Farley and Vernie Shepherd Farley; and her son Philip Ernst. She is survived by: her husband Robert Ernst; her daughter Kim Lane; her granddaughters, Jennifer (Rachel Laird) and Aimee (Jonathan Harrell); and her great grandchildren, Heidi Harrell, Adda Laird, Jesse Laird and Sloane Laird. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
