She was predeceased by: her parents, James H Chandler and Eudela McCoy Chandler; her former husband John Palmer; her sister Nadene Johnson (Billie Jo Burgamy); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Chandler.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Carroll of Canton; her children, John Palmer (Julie) of St. Simon's Island, GA, Douglas Wayne Carroll, Jr. of Arlington, Nita Jo Palmer of Troup and Jennifer Bier (David) of Madison, AL; and her brother James Chandler of Salisbury, MD. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
