He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Eugene and Ollie Butler; his wife Verna Lou Tibbets; his daughters, Gina David of Guymon, LuAnn Flowers (David) of Stinnett and Kelly Lair (Dickson) of Miami; his grandchildren, Jeff Jones (Feather) of Piedmont, Steven Flowers (Veronica) of Stinnett, Kevin Flowers (Mandy) of Canadian, Melissa Flowers of Canadian, Brandon Lee Flowers of Mustang, Jarrod David (Jo) of Chapmans, TN, Trint Flowers (Jasmine) of Ada, Jill David of Guymon, Daltin Flowers (Jasmine) of Boise City, OK and Dillon Laire of Miami; his niece Gayle Stegall of Abilene; his nephews, Michael Tibbets of Paris, Martin Tibbets of Sedgwick, KS and Bernie Holder of Bonham; and his brother Gene Butler. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Edward Abraham Memorial Home or Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 S. 4th, Canadian, Texas 79014.
