He was predeceased by: his parents, Concepcion Cervantes and Guadalupe Garcia; his daughter Vickie Cervantes; and his brothers, Valentine Cervantes, Lucio Cervantes (Kim) and Manuel Cervantes (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Juana Cervantes; his children, Lisa Cervantes of Canadian and Danny Cervantes (Amber) of Van Buren, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Dani Lamberti (Tristen) of Wichita Falls, Phillip Cervantes of Canadian, Madi, Lauren and Jackson Cervantes of Van Buren, Arkansas.; his brother Robert Cervantes (Ana) of Canadian, Texas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Joaquin Flores, Hondo and Sophia Cervantes; and his great grandchild Luca Lamberti. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (800 E Kingman Ave, Canadian, TX 79014). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
