We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2023, at the age of 93, Mary Lynne Schafer of Canadian, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gill Webb and Kathryn Webb; and her son Laney Schafer. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Schafer; her children, Kathy Parker (Skip) of Richardson and Sam Schafer of Lipscomb; her grandchildren, Nikki Hunter, Charlie, Jack, Edie, Georgia, Josh Parker of Austin, Heather Logsdon, Ty, Lily and Tanner Schafer of Norman, OK; her sister-in-law Glenna Schafer; and also Megan Schafer of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers or food, Mary Lynne's two favorite places to donate were First Christian Church and Mesa View Senior Living but would be honored by any donation in her memory to your own favorite charity.
