He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Childress and Etta Rankin Childress; and his brother Jerry Martin. He is survived by: his significant other Terry South of Glazier; his son Matt Martin (Karen) of Edmond, OK; his brothers, Larry Martin (Norma) of Canadian and Shaffer Baxter (Susie) of Canadian; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Martin (Callie Anne), Shawn Baxter, Janie Shields and Heather Helms (Cody).
