It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Rankin of Canadian, Texas, born in Amherst, Texas, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Glenn and Eunice Webb Rankin; and his siblings, JoNell Lynskey, Louise Wuthrich, Paul, Glen, Wayne and Jay.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rudolph (Lynda) of Miami, Lilly McCoy (Gayle) of Spade, Nina Smith of Olton and Lola Beth Reed of Olton; his children, Toni Jobe Rankin, Bo Rankin (Tresea) of Canadian and Charlie Rankin (Suzanne) of Canadian; his grandchildren, Jerod Rankin (Sherri) of Azle, Brianna McArthur (Daniel) of Amarillo, Rebecca Ash of Canadian, Elizabeth Fletcher (Mason) of Amarillo, Reccia Jobe and Tanner Jobe (Helene Resende) of Georgetown Tx; and his great grandchildren, Emma McArthur, Saige Hamby (Jacob), Tinley, Riggs, Tyce, Talan Pennington, Blayzyn, Jagger, Ledger Butler, Campbell James Rankin, McCallie, Maudie and Rankin Fletcher.
