He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Albert and Osa Ora Burdett; and his siblings, Jack, Allen, Chester Burdett and Frances Burdett Schaefer.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Anne Burdett Abreu (Luis) and John McDaniel; his grandchildren, Pilar Abreu and Marcello Abreu; his brother Albert Burdett; his significant other Elsie Wright; his son Rex Wright; his granddaughter Taylor Wright Lingerfelt (Trevor); and his great grandchild Tatum Lingerfelt.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Campbellton City Cemetery.
