He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. C. "Bill" Vaughn and Juanita Darlene Vaughn-Bell (Ward); and his sister Margie Miller. He is survived by: his wife Trisha Tushim; his children, Matthew Vaughn (Ashley) and Sara Shotwell (James); his siblings, Julia Ann Morrow, Jeanie Vaughn, Carolyn Sue Drinning, Barbara Lynn Grady, Daniel Vaughn, James Dale Vaughn and Billy Dewayne Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Lillian, Lucy-Ann, Abby-Lynn and Rory.
