With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Kanaman of Campbell, Texas, born in Eustace, Texas, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Starr and Dessie Starr; her husband R. A. Kanaman; her daughter Malia Roberts; and her siblings, Bernice Bodin, Billy Starr and Jimmy Starr (Tiny).
She is survived by: her children, Marla and Wesley Ashley (DeAnn) of Sulphur Springs; her siblings, Joyce Tucker of Mesquite, Shirley Rush of Wills Point and Gary Starr (Mandy) of Mount Vernon; and her grandchildren, Doug Roberts (Cassie), Ryan Roberts (Lindsay), Shane Ashley (Paige), Britney Macchiaverna (Paul) and Kaitlyn Rigdon (Jordan). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
