She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Franks and Francis Friddle; her husband Billy Fred Ross; and her grandson Jerid Putman. She is survived by: her children, James O. Putman Jr. and Charmaine Garrett; and her grandchildren, Cherokee Escalante, William Paul Garrett, Leslie Stone, Autumn Cotten and Jacoby Putman. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
