It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simon Hamilton of Camp Wood, Texas, born in Concan, Texas, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Hamilton and F. C. "Red" Hamilton; and his siblings, Wyhoma Lometa, Grace Irene, Hazel, Hal Hamilton (Cathy), Cecil Hamilton (Cindy) of Camp Wood and Van Hamilton (Marivel) of Camp Wood.
He is survived by: his sisters, Reba Hurt (Arthur) of Blum, Leona Hurt (Jimmy) of Clifton and Marie Hurt (Lawrence) of Hillsboro; his aunt Claudette Wipff of Sonora; his uncle Jimmie Williams of Camp Wood; and his children, Michael, Simon Bradly, James Hamilton and Ambor Hamilton of Uvalde. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
