She was predeceased by: her parents, Crecencio Machado and Ruperta Machado. She is survived by: her husband Efrain Nevarez Sr.; and her children, Efrain Nevarez Jr. (Linda), Ralph Nevarez (Ashley), Albert Nevarez (Veronica), Everett Nevarez (Patty), Johnny Joe Nevarez (Kathy), Debra Navarro (David), Arthur Ray (Reesa) and Mary Tinsley (Alvis). She is also survived by her nine siblings, twenty grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
