She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvel Meardeth and Elizabeth Catchings; her husband Robert Lee Frels; and her siblings, Honey, Jessie, Sonny and Allen.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Catchings; her children, Carolyn Hollingsworth (Ken) of Kerrville and James Robert Frels of Camp Wood; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lamb (Wayne), Carly Filbin (Hunter) and James Matthew Frels; her great grandchildren, David and James Lamb; and her parents-in-law, Edwin and Loella Frels.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Hazel's memory.
