He was predeceased by: his parents, Teodoro Valenzuela and Encarnacion Falcon Valenzuela; his wife Diamantina Valenzuela; his grandson Trey Valenzuela; and his siblings, Elsa Deleon, Cristella Valenzuela, Francisca Valenzuela, Adelita Valenzuela, Mary Romo, Martina Lopez, Lucia Hidalgo, Claudio Valenzuela and Fidel Valenzuela.
He is survived by: his children, Catarino Valenzuela (Debbie) of Del Rio, Texas, Gilbert Valenzuela (Emma) of Camp Wood, Texas, Albert Valenzuela (Sharisse) of Rowlett, Texas and Elaine Valenzuela (Mary) of Uvalde; his grandchildren, David Justin Valenzuela, Jarel Valenzuela, Jack Adair, Colton Valenzuela, Zachariah Valenzuela, Chesney Valenzuela, Brett Valenzuela, Sierra Long and Tyler Valenzuela; and his sister Virginia Rendon (Leo) of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
