He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Cross and Thelma Cross (Thomason); his daughter Shannon Leigh; his wife Mary Joyce; his child Shawn; and the parents of child, Shirley and Thelma Cross.
He is survived by: his friend Christian; his grandchildren, Shawn Huston, Stan and Charolais; his daughter Samantha Cross Leifeste (Alan); his grandchildren, Mason Avery, Shawn Alan and Landree Breen of Cameron; and his sister Margaret Ann Rotunda.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery.
