She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Blackmon and Ivie Blackmon (Dickey); her husband George Nickels; her daughter Diane Box; and her grandsons, Timothy Nickels, Larry Leftwich and Jared Rowell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Nickels of Cameron, Larry Nickels (Gaye) of Red Oak, Nancy Leftwich (Johnny) of Cameron and Sandy Gilbert of College Station; her son-in-law Marron "Frog" Box of Lucedale, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Roger, Christi, Jesse, Brandi, Jason, Bethany, Diane and Tami; her great grandchildren, Paula, Nick, Braxton, Titus, Max, Ella, Timothy, Ryan, Brooke, Tristin, Alonna, Jordan, Cheyenne, Lauryn, Kyli and Maci; her great great grandchildren, Gracie, Tess, Duke, Madden, Meredith, Addilyn and Aschten; and her nieces, Dodie Williams of Cameron and Jeanne Schmick of Cameron. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and all of her nieces and nephews.
